MANCHESTER, NH – Three men were arrested Jan. 19 in an early-morning raid following a Manchester Police Special Enforcement Division investigation into a large-scale drug-trafficking operation on Lake Avenue.
In addition to the arrests, police seized more than $35,000-worth of illegal drugs.
At 5:45 a.m. members of the Manchester Police SWAT team, along with detectives from the Special Enforcement Division, executed a search warrant in a third-floor apartment at 287 Lake Ave. where they found Orlando Correa Arroyo, 47, of 278 Lake Ave.; Samuel Eliezer Gonzalez Fabian, 46, and Gino Garcia Matta, 40, both of 287 Lake Ave.. All three men attempted to flee the scene, but were quickly apprehended by police.
Investigators located and seized 510 grams of fentanyl; 40 grams of cocaine; 78 grams of heroin; and 20.6 grams of crack inside of the apartment. Police say the street value for each drug is estimated at $30,000 for the fentanyl; $2,800 for the heroin; $1,600 for the cocaine; and $1,000 for the crack.
Correa Arroyo was charged with: resisting arrest/detention; 2 counts of sale of a controlled drug (heroin); and possession with intent to distribute (fentanyl).
Gonzalez Fania was charged with: 3 counts possession with intent to distribute (fentanyl, heroin and crack); and resisting arrest/detention.
Matta was charged with: sale of a controlled drug (heroin); and resisting arrest/detention.
