MANCHESTER, NH – The Easterseals NH Oral Health Center in Manchester recently received a $20,000 gift from Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern New England to help meet the dental needs of low income, vulnerable children in the Greater Manchester Area.

“We are honored to support Easterseals NH’s Oral Health Center to help children receive the critical dental care and educations during their formative years, so they grow up with good oral health practices and a healthy smile.” said Karen McEachern, executive director of the RMHC.

This grant will support the Easterseals NH Oral Health Center to serve children regardless of their family income status. Last year, the Oral Health Center served 1,069 children along with 731 adults, and the Mobile Dental Van component of the practice visited 14 Manchester city schools.

The Oral Health Center, sponsored by Northeast Delta Dental, is one of just a few dental facilities in the Manchester area that accepts Medicaid. The Center offers comprehensive exams, routine cleanings, X-rays, restorative procedures, oral surgery, prosthodontic, endodontic, and emergency care during regular office hours.

“We are honored to have been selected by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern New England for this gift,” said Easterseals NH President & CEO Larry Gammon. “We look forward to helping the children of Manchester smile with confidence.”
