Mad Rush: Salvation Army ‘Toy Shop’ registration continues through Dec. 16

It is not unusual for a line to form outside the Salvation Army Cedar Street office on the first day of sign-ups for the popular Christmas Assistance program, but the rush of people who lined up Monday forced the organization to close its doors earlier than planned, says Captain Miriam Rader. Man charged with selling stolen plumbing parts

Lawrence Stone consented to a vehicle search and multiple allegedly stolen items were recovered, to include oil burner nozzles and a DeWalt battery and charger. The items seized had a combined total of $2,446.02 resulting in a class A felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. READ MORE
