2 sought after Rite Aid robbery, stealing then dumping 60 packs of cigarettes

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Police responded to a robbery at Rite Aid, located at 1631 Elm St., at 2 a.m. on November 20. Officers spoke with the manager who stated two men entered the store and began acting suspicious. According to the manager, one of the men acted as a lookout while the other walked behind a counter, crouched down and began loading multiple packs of cigarettes into a bag.

The manager confronted the man who he described as a black male, approximately 5-foot-8 to 5-foot 10 inches tall, medium build, last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, black-and-white Jordan sneakers, black baseball hat with a light colored logo while carrying a large red laundry bag.

The manager confronted him behind the counter and grabbed the bag as the robber pushed him away. He attempted to chase the robber outside of the store while the robber emptied the contents of the bag in front of the store. The second robber who was described as a black male, approximately 6-feet-tall with a thin to medium build also fled the store on foot. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored knit hat, dark jeans, white sneakers and a gray-hooded sweatshirt.

The manager retrieved over 60 packs of cigarettes in front of the store once the two men fled on foot toward Sagamore Street.
