MANCHESTER, NH – Elliot Health System and Southern New Hampshire Health System will jointly hold two public listening sessions over the course of the summer to accept input concerning the proposed creation of a regional healthcare system. On June 20 Elliot and SNHH announced in a Letter of Intent they were exploring combining to form a regional healthcare system. The Letter of Intent outlines a new non-profit organization that would implement an integrated governance system in which both the Elliot and SNHH would each retain their respective names, identities, and local governance structures as independently licensed organizations.
Dates and locations for the public listening sessions are as follows:
July 26th in Manchester
Time: 5:45 p.m. doors open, 6 p.m. start
Location: UNH Manchester, Pandora Mill Building, 88 Commercial Street, Manchester
August 9th in Nashua
Time: 5:45 p.m. doors open, 6 p.m. start
Location: Nashua City Auditorium, City Hall, 229 Main Street, Nashua

Elliot and SNHH have created a website to provide public information, documents, plans and details on the proposed combination. The website – www.nhregionalhealthcare.org – will continue to be updated as discussions proceed and includes schedules and information on meetings and a ‘Your Voice’ section for the public to share comments and questions
