2 more convenience store armed robberies

MANCHESTER,  NH — Police are investigating two armed robberies on Monday.

At about 12:25 p.m. Manchester Police responded to a call for an armed robbery at Seven Days Market, 360 Union St. Officer Ryan White spoke with the clerk who told police the robber forced her behind the counter at knife point  with an 8-10 inch kitchen-style knife as he demanded cash from the register.

The clerk gave the robber cash and cigarettes before he fled the store.

The clerk told police she believed the man who robbed her was in the store the night before, so she provided the officer with a still photo from the store’s surveillance camera. 

The man pictured is a suspect at this time and not wanted for the armed robbery, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe. If you recognize him, please contact the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711 and reference MPD  case #19-302.


At approximately 7 p.m. police were dispatched to U.S. Mart, 540 Hall St., for the report of an armed robbery.

The robber entered the store and demanded money from the clerk while he was displaying a knife. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect in this robbery is described as light-skinned black male approximately 5-foot-5 inches tall in his early 20s. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark pants.

You may be eligible for a cash reward should your crime tip lead to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.

Police have not connected the two robberies.

Another convenience store, U&P Market, was robbed on Dec. 28, and the Shop-N-Go on Massabesic Street was robbed Jan. 5.
