2 arrested in drug raid, found with $60K+ crack, heroin, cocaine, $8K in cash

MANCHESTER, NH — On December 1, 2016, members of the Manchester Police Department Special Enforcement Division targeted and arrested Edwin Ruiz 28, of 22 Golfview Dr., Manchester, charging him with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.

Ruiz had in his possession approximately 11.8 grams of heroin and $8,264 in cash.

Also arrested was Antonio Rivera Alicea, 33, of 5 Wheelock St., Manchester, who was charged on a warrant for sale of a controlled drug.

The vehicle involved in this incident was seized. A search warrant was granted by 9th Circuit District Manchester and a search of the vehicle yielded the following:

  • 883 grams of cocaine with a street value of $55,000
  • 98 grams of crack cocaine with a street value of $10,000
  • 23 grams of heroin with a street value of $1,000
  • various prescription pills.

As result of this seizure, Ruiz and Alicea were additionally charged with three counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. Ruiz and Alicea will be arraigned on Friday December 2, 2016 in the 9th Circuit District Manchester.
