2 arrested, 1 still at large in crystal meth bust, after SWAT executes warrants on Linden Street

MANCHESTER, NH – On July 12, 2017 at approximately 5:15 a.m. members of the Manchester Police Special Enforcement Division, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and Manchester SWAT executed a search warrant at 47 Linden St. The Special Enforcement Division conducted an investigation into the street-level dealing of crystal methamphetamine from individuals residing in the Linden Street residence.

Police arrested two men and seized 28.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine (street value of $1,500), more than $1,500 cash and more than $2,500-worth of assorted gold and silver. Tony Pickard, 54, of 47 Linden St. and Maurice Groulx, 52, of Manchester, were taken into custody on separate warrants.

Pickard was arrested on a sale of controlled drug warrant from Manchester Police, while Groulx was arrested on another agency’s warrant. No further information was available regarding the warrant out on Groulx (and no booking photo was available according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe.) Pickard is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on July 13, 2017.

Police are actively looking for another man as part of the Linden Street investigation, Paul Bennett, 54,  who was not home at the time of the raid. Bennett has two drug-related warrants. He is wanted by police, and described as 5-foot-5 inches tall, 150 pounds, brown eyes and grey hair. If  you know his whereabouts, contact Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711 or Manchester Crimeline 603-624-4040.
