MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police are investigating a shooting on Hanover Street just before 7 a.m. on April 16.
A man was reportedly shot in the abdomen according to witnesses at the scene. Police reportedly have taken someone into custody.
No other information was available at this time.
The shooting took place one block south of Manchester Central High School, between Maple and Beech streets, near the NH Employment Security office. The area was cordoned off as police investigated the scene.
A school spokesperson said as of 8:30 a.m. the district was told the scene was clear, and students were not affected.
