MANCHESTER, NH — One person was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at 109 English Village Road Sunday night.
Fire crews arrived just after 9 p.m. to find a heavy smoke condition in apartment 104. After entering the apartment they discovered a kitchen fire, which was quickly extinguished. Smoke was evacuated from the remainder of the building. The occupant of apartment 104 was taken by ambulance to CMC for treatment of smoke inhalation.
The property is managed by Evergreen Harvard Properties. Cause was determined to be accidental. Damage to the apartment was estimated at $8,000.
