1 dead, 1 injured in I-93 rollover in Windham

WINDHAM, NH — A Londonderry woman has died and a passenger in the vehicle was left hospitalized with serious injuries following an early-morning accident on I-93.

State Police responded to the single-vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of I-93 in Windham at about 3:30 a.m. and found two people inside an overturned vehicle.

Kelsey Lenfest, 22, and Suzanne Darcy, 20, both of Londonderry, were transported to Parkland Medical Center in Derry.

Police said Suzanne Darcy was pronounced dead at Parkland Medical Center as a result of her injuries. Kelsey Lenfest was transferred to Portsmouth Regional Hospital where she was being treated for life-threatening injuries.

The crash investigation is being handled by the State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit (C.A.R. Unit) with assistance of New Hampshire State Police Troop B. Assisting on scene were members of the Windham Fire Department, the Rockingham County Attorney’s Office, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
