BEDFORD, NH — One of the victims in the Nov. 8 motor vehicle crash involving two pedestrians has died, according to Bedford Police.

Thomas Ducharme, 58, of Bedford, succumbed to his injuries on Nov. 12.  The other jogger, Gregory Uliasz, 58, of Bedford, has been released from the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by the Bedford Police Department’s Technical Accident Reconstruction team.

On Tuesday Nov. 8 just after 7 a.m., Bedford Police received a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Pembroke Way. Upon arrival, they found that Thomas Ducharme and Gregory Uliasz, who were jogging on Pembroke Way, had been struck by a sedan.

Both were transported to Elliot Hospital in Manchester with life-threatening injuries.

The driver is a 16-year-old male from Bedford. His name will not be released due to his age.

Police believe frost on the windshield of the sedan may have been a contributing factor.

Bedford Police remind residents to always make sure their front and back windshields are fully defrosted before operating their motor vehicles.
