Woman injured after crashing van into house on Rockland Ave.

MANCHESTER, NH – Police are investigating why a van left the roadway in the area of 107 Rockland Ave. and crashed into the front of a house.

Police and fire officials responded to find a 26-year-old woman, who was driving the van, had suffered serious but non-life threatening injury. She was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.

A child in the vehicle was checked out at the scene by medical personnel and released at the scene to the child’s father.

The vehicle was significantly damaged and also caused damage to the interior and exterior of the house, as well as severing electrical wires in the wall. No one in the house was injured.

No other vehicles were involved.
