MANCHESTER, NH – Sunny Austin, 39, of Manchester, was arrested Oct. 18 for allegedly assaulting a police officer after police were called to break up a fight outside of Mike’s Pub & Grub.
At about 5 p.m Tuesday police were dispatched to the rear of Mike’s Pub & Grub, 155 Lake Ave., for a fight. Sgt. Mike Bergeron located a man and woman arguing in the rear parking lot. The woman, later identified as Austin, continued to yell and scream profanity in the presence of the public. She was instructed by police to cease her behavior. However, police say her “tumultuous” behavior continued, leading to her arrest.
Austin kicked Sgt. Bergeron while being placed into custody.
She was scheduled to be arraigned in the 9th Circuit Court, Manchester District on the charges of disorderly conduct and simple assault on a police officer.
