MANCHESTER, NH – Chief Nick Willard of the Manchester Police Department has been selected to represent the State of New Hampshire at a one-day DEA sponsored Opioid Training Course on September 13 at the DEA Training Academy in Quantico, VA. Chief Willard, along with one selected police leader from each state will meet and cover topics to include:

  • Overview of Diversion and cases that are being worked in the Field
  • Overview of Pharmaceutical Division and Issues handled by DEA’s Office of Diversion Control
  • Overview of Chemical Section and Issues handled by DEA’s Office of Diversion Control
  • Training of Fentanyl and the Dangers of Handling

In addition to the training, Chief Willard will have the opportunity to address colleagues from around the country and discuss the practices of the Manchester Police Department and other law enforcement agencies throughout the State of New Hampshire and their efforts to combat the opioid crisis.

The collaboration of Manchester Police Chief Willard and the New Hampshire DEA, continue to lead efforts that are having a great impact within the City of Manchester and the surrounding region.
