MANCHESTER, NH – A pick-up truck traveling north on Mast Road lost control striking a guard rail and tree. The crash caused the truck to roll over and down an embankment onto a house below.
The truck narrowly missed the exposed gas line on the building and damaged the roof and side of the house.
Manchester Fire Department Engine 6, Rescue 1, District Chief Poulin, and AMR responded to the scene. The sole occupant of the truck was able to get out of the truck on his own, and did not appear to be injured.
MFD Rescue 1 removed the guardrail for access to the vehicle for Kinney Towing. The tow company using straps and a large rotator truck was able to lift the vehicle from the house.
The accident caused one lane to be closed for approximately two hours.
