Roommate found dead in Mass. motel, police seek info on missing woman, recovered cars

MANCHESTER, NH – Stephen Andrade, 36, of 169 A Calef Road in Manchester, was found dead Oct. 6 of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Motel 6 in Tewksbury, Mass.

Andrade was recently reported missing by his family. Manchester Police Detectives were searching for him and are still searching for his roommate, Sue Hutchinson, 57, who has also been reported missing.

Hutchinson is described as an Asian female approximately 5-foot-2 inches tall weighing approximately 200 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, glasses, a dragon tattoo on her neck, a guitar tattoo on one of her wrists, a scar on unknown knee, a scar on her chest and a possible tattoo of sun/moon/stars on her shoulders.

The investigation to date reveals that Andrade may have been the last person to see Hutchinson on September 20, 2015 at their residence.

Investigators have confirmed that Andrade was at the GameStop in Bedford at approximately 4:26 p.m. on September 21, 2015. Investigators believe that Andrade was operating a 2005 silver, 5-series BMW bearing New Hampshire registration 380 6038 (a vehicle registered to Hutchinson) at the time. The investigation has also revealed that Andrade may have spent the evening of September 21, 2015 in Boston and left the following morning.

On September 23, 2015, Hutchinson’s 1992 Buick Century bearing NH registration 288 6934 was discovered at Wyoming Avenue and S. Elm Street, just a few blocks from her Calef Road residence.

Additionally, on October 5, 2015, investigators located the BMW at the Gold’s Gym in Merrimack. The police are asking anyone who believes they may have seen these vehicles at any time since September 20, 2015, to please come forward.

The police are further requesting that anyone with information as to Sue Hutchinson’s possible whereabouts, or anyone who has had recent contact with Andrade, to contact the Manchester Police Detective unit at (603) 668-8711 or Manchester Police Crimeline at (603) 642-4040.
