NASHUA, NH – What’s a presidential town hall meeting without a presidential candidate?
Fear not, says NH GOP Chair Jennifer Horn – the NH GOP has confirmed the first of what they expect to be a growing list of GOP contenders during the 2016 #FITN Presidential Town Hall, set for Jan. 22-23 at the Radisson Hotel in Nashua.
“Senator Paul is running a strong, grassroots campaign that shows his respect for New Hampshire voters. He is a strong advocate for individual liberty and constitutional principles, and we look forward to welcoming him at our Presidential Town Hall,” said Horn in a press announcement on Dec. 8.
Horn says the goal of the town hall-style forum is to provide an opportunity for Granite State Republican primary voters to ask questions directly of candidates.
“All fourteen Republican presidential candidates have been invited, and over the coming weeks we will have many more announcements as candidates confirm their attendance,” said Horn.
The event takes place less than three weeks before New Hampshire’s Primary election, scheduled for Feb. 9, and will include other prominent GOP figures, including former Vice President Dick Cheney, and his daughter, Liz Cheney, who are on the roster as speakers for Friday night’s dinner.
