HENNIKER, NH – New England College is pleased to announce that its President’s Speaker Series will be hosting an alumnae forum titled “Pathways to Success,” Thursday, April 6, at 5:30 p.m., in the Simon Center Great Room on the Henniker campus.
Pathways to Success will feature engaging and insightful conversation with some of the College’s most prominent women graduates. Attendees will learn from alumnae who have excelled in professions as varied as advertising, nonprofit leadership, investment services, the arts, and media. They will discuss the opportunities and challenges they have encountered, the decisions they have made, and the lessons they have learned.
The forum will be moderated by New England College President Michele D. Perkins. Alumnae Forum participants include: Debbie Spring Reed ’60, Astrid Williams ’81, Dyan Goodwin ’82, Kim Costello Lesko ’85, and Ariane Trimuschat ’88.

“We are very pleased to welcome this group of accomplished women to back to campus,” said New England College President, Dr. Michele Perkins. “Their comments are certain to be thought-provoking and inspirational. Our students benefit greatly from direct conversation with our guest speakers, and we look forward to hearing from our alumnae as they share their expertise and experiences.”
- Debbie Spring Reed ’60 – A retired advertising executive, Debbie is a true pioneer. She was one of the first women to break into the executive ranks at Young & Rubicam Advertising, where she created and developed the Talent Control Department. She also worked as an editor and reporter, and at the Ford Model Agency where she was their first television casting director. Debbie has been an active volunteer in her community, and was the first female alumna to serve as Chairperson of New England College’s Board of Trustees.
- Astrid Williams ’81 – Astrid’s career has focused on working to strengthen and improve community and human service organizations in the Concord, MA, region, serving in a variety of fundraising and leadership positions. She currently works in a clinical management position with Emerson Hospital, and serves on the Board of Trustees of New England College.
- Dyan Goodwin ’82 – Dyan has built a thriving career in financial services, with over 25 years of combined wealth, credit, and investment management experience at companies such as Fidelity Investments, Nuveen, and MFS Investment Management. Now focused on private wealth management, she is currently Managing Director at US Trust/Bank of America Private Wealth Management.
- Kim Costello Lesko ’85 – Kim began her career managing a five-star restaurant north of Boston. A successful sales career in the food services industry led to the purchase of 1640 Hart House, an elegant and historic restaurant in Ipswich MA. Since 2003, her husband Jim has served as chef, while Kim’s focus has been on business, sales, and design. In addition, Kim owns and manages a portfolio of investment properties.
- Ariane Trimuschat ’88 – Ariane has spent over 25 years in marketing, communications, and the arts. She began her career in publishing working at Sassy magazine, Cahners Publishing, and Condé Nast Publishing. In 2000 she became the San Francisco Director of the national arts organization Gen Art. In 2012 Ariane was appointed Director of the San Francisco Fall Art & Antiques Show, the oldest and most prestigious international art and antiques show on the West Coast.
