Police investigate early-morning Beech Street stabbing

Crime tapeMANCHESTER, NH — 
Manchester Police responded to 536 Beech Street at 1:47 a.m. Aug. 26 for a disturbance call. Upon arrival, they met the 39 year-old male victim who stated he was stabbed during an altercation with a man he was familiar with.

The victim was immediately transported to the Elliot Hospital and treated for a serious injury (single stab wound) to his midsection. Officers confirmed an altercation took place that  ended the victim was stabbed.

The assailant  fled the scene prior to police arrival. Detectives are following up on the ongoing case.
