Police investigate death of 11-month-old Alexandria boy

ALEXANDRIA, NHUPDATE Nov. 18: Results of an autopsy conducted on Shawn Sylvester, age 11 months, will not be released at this time, according to State Police.

The boy died Nov. 15 from injuries sustained on Nov. 13. Police are not releasing further information as the investigation into Shawn Sylvester’s death is ongoing.


Original post Nov. 15, 2o15: New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster, State Police Colonel Robert L. Quinn, and Alexandria Police Department Chief Donald Sullivan announce the death investigation of an 11-month-old child in Alexandria.

The New Hampshire State Police began an investigation Nov. 13 after the male child was treated for injuries. The child died Nov. 15.

An autopsy is expected to take place November 17. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is anticipated to be released at this time, authorities said.
