Third robberies in two days – 2 at a Subway and one at Ben & Jerry’s – in which the suspect is described as an older man with white hair.
MANCHESTER, NH – Police responded to the Subway, 20 South Main St., in Manchester at about 8 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery by a man described as about 60 years of age, white hair, “scruff” on his face, approximately 6 feet tall, while wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants with bushy eyebrows. The robber implied to the store clerk that he had a weapon and escaped the store with undetermined amount of cash.
Several hours earlier, the Ben and Jerry’s Scoop Shop on Elm Street was robbed just before 3 p.m. by a man with a similar description, wearing a red sweatshirt, who also indicated he had a gun, and got away with cash before fleeing on foot.
A Subway on Hooksett Road was robbed Oct. 14 by a robber with a similar description.
Police have not ruled out that the robberies are related.
