MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police have identified an alleged bank robber in connection with the Nov. 18  TD Bank robbery.

With public assistance and tenacious investigative work, Manchester detectives have prepared warrants James Whinnem, 34, of Manchester, according to Manchester Police Sgt. Brian O’Keefe.

Whinnem has an active arrest warrant with a limited extradition for robbery, a felony.

He is described as 6-feet-tall, 175 pounds, and may be wearing glasses. Whinnem was last seen fleeing TD Banknorth at approximately 3 p.m., on November 18 while wearing a black-and-gray fleece coat and a matching fleece hat, with a red stripe on the bottom of the hat.

Although he was not armed during the incident, the public should not attempt to capture Whinnem. Instead, Manchester Police are urging you to call the Manchester Police Department if you know the whereabouts of  Whinnem.

Anyone with information should contact the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711.
