Monday arrests: Heroin, suboxone, crystal meth and a loaded gun

MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police made several drug-related arrests on May 23. The separate incidents resulted in five arrests and small seizures of methamphetamine, marijuana, heroin, cocaine, prescription pills, suboxone strips and a handgun.

Members of the Special Enforcement Division observed a wanted subject outside of his apartment at approximately 11:55 a.m. on Monday. They arrested Dennis Jones, 29, of 18 Auclair Ave. He  was wanted for three counts of sale of a controlled drug. Police located a small bag containing .88 grams of cocaine inside of his pocket during a search incident to arrest.

Jones was charged with possession of a controlled drug as well as three counts of sale of a controlled drug, and will appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 24, 2016.

At approximately 10:05 p.m. Monday Detectives Derek Feather and Jonathan Duchesne of the Special Enforcement Division-Street Crime Unit located Alejandro Guillermo, 29, of 144 Lake Ave., who was wanted on a Capias (felonious use of a firearm while committing the crime of possession of a controlled drug with intent to dispense; and a child support) out of Hillsborough County Court-North.

Detectives approached him in the parking lot of the South Main Street Mobil Gas Station. During a search detectives located a loaded handgun and .7 grams of heroin. Guillermo was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled drug, felonious use of a firearm and carrying a firearm without a permit.

Officers Ken Brunini and Mark Harrington conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Bridge and Buzzell Streets at 11 a.m. on Monday for an expired inspection sticker. Officer Harrington spoke with the driver of the blue Jetta, Christopher Laliberte, 38, while Officer Brunini spoke with the passenger, Jennifer Ives, 35, of 165 Conant Street.

Ives had an active Electronic Bench Warrant, so she was placed into custody. During a search Officer Brunini located three Buprenorphine hydrochloride pills, a schedule 3 drug. She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug. She appeared in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 24, 2016.

Detective Eric Joyal and Christian Horn of the Special Enforcement Division-Street Crime Unit observed a blue Volvo, operated by Alexandra Jsirandanis, 31 of 20 West River Drive, fail to use a turn signal while turning on to Maple Street from Laurel Street.

They stopped Jsirandanis on Maple Street at Sagamore Street. The detectives spoke with her and asked her about her furtive movements as they stopped the vehicle. The detectives asked her if she had any illegal substances in her vehicle and she stated she did. She consented to a search of her motor vehicle. They located three suboxone strips and two Alrazopam pills and a penicillin tablet not in a prescription container. They also observed her swallow a substance they believed to be heroin.

She was arrested and charged with possession of narcotic drug; possession of a controlled drug, falsifying physical evidence and possession of prescription drug. She appeared in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 24, 2016.

Traffic Investigators John McInerney and Greg DiTullio were approached by the manager at the Granite Street Dunkin Donuts at 2:10 p.m. Monday due to a patron allegedly consuming drugs in the drive-thru.

Police observed a Red Nissan Altima proceed through the drive thru, and followed the vehicle to check the condition of the operator and passenger. They stopped the vehicle on Main Street at Sullivan Street. The driver appeared to move rapidly as they approached her and her male passenger.

The driver identified herself as Kanga Lynn Collard, 24, of Massachusetts, and her passenger was identified as William Ian Lucchesi, 36, of 131 Sandown Road, Fremont. Both individuals made multiple furtive movements as the officers approached, so they ordered them out of the vehicle to ensure no weapons were located within reach of the two individuals.

Lucchesi exited the vehicle and allegedly dropped a small plastic bag containing a small rock like substance on to the passenger seat. The operator granted consent to search. The bag was located on the seat where he had been sitting and contained 2.17 grams of methamphetamine (crystal meth).

They also located 13 Alrazopam pills (1 mg tablets) and 11.79 grams of marijuana inside of a back pack belonging to Lucchesi. He was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug and possession of prescription medication. Collard was not charged in the incident.
