A 5K road race to honor the memory and sacrifice of our fallen police officers and to show support to fallen officers and their families across the state of New Hampshire. Proceeds to benefit the Manchester Police Athletic League.
MANCHESTER, NH – Once again runners will take their mark in front of the Manchester Police Department and run a 5K road race in honor of MPD officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Fallen officers from departments across the state will also be honored and their families will be recognized.
The 10th Annual Footrace for the Fallen will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Bib Pick Up opens at 8 a.m. inside Gill Stadium.
This year’s race kicks off at 10 a.m. in front of 405 Valley Street, Manchester. Runners and walkers will follow a 5K route and finish inside Gill Stadium where they are greeted by family and supporters. A Beer Garden, food and music will be provided inside the stadium.
This year’s presenting sponsor is Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield with a supporting sponsorship from Member’s First Credit Union. All proceeds will go directly to the programs at the recently renovated Manchester Police Athletic League.
Registration is now open at www.footraceforthefallen.org. Free T-shirts will be given to the first 500 registrants.
