Pho Golden Bowl has re-opened

MANCHESTER, NHPho Golden Bowl has re-opened at 12 Lake Avenue. The popular restaurant relocated from its Queen City Avenue location in the spring and has been renovating the space. Pho Golden Bowl is open daily 11:30 a.m.- 8:30 p.m.

Queen’s Pub and Grille is getting ready to open at 641 Elm Street in the next couple of weeks. This new restaurant across from the Verizon Center will offer a pub menu and NY style deli sandwiches with meats roasted in house. There will be a walk-up, take out window on Lake Avenue and entertainment six nights a week.

On Saturday, September 26, the New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlet superstore at 25 Coliseum Avenue in Nashua will host a ‘In the Mix Kitchen Series’ from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Get inspired by a local chef or mixologist who will offer unique wine pairings and food samplings for a taste experience that will be entertaining and fun. Try something new and enjoy exclusive same-day savings. Hosted by Southern Wine & Spirits of New England.

UnWine’d: Key West Cafe & Grill has opened and you can find the new menu here. This revamped eatery is a merger of the former wine bar, UnWined, with the breakfast-lunch spot in Goffstown, Key West Café. The Second Street restaurant was renovated and now serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu offers traditional items, plus Key West inspired dishes, like the conch chowder ($5.50), conch and shrimp salad ($10) and coconut lime shrimp kabobs ($10). And fans of UnWine’d can still find some of their favorite menus items here, like the fondue ($10), pork medallions ($16) and grilled steak tips ($17).

Bedford Village Inn’s Bonfire on the patio starts on Friday and Saturday nights in October from 6:30-10 p.m. Relax in Adirondack chairs with flannel blankets while listening to live music and enjoying the beautiful New Hampshire Fall weather. The menu includes maple tossed sweet potato fries with smoked aioli ($6), crab fritter bites ($9) and pumpkin cheesecake bites with salted caramel sauce ($6), and prepare your own s’mores fireside ($6) and specialty fall cocktails. No RSVP needed or admission charge.

Check out the fall menu for The Quill at SNHU, including Oktoberfest ($20) on October 28. Most dinners are five courses prix fixe for $28 and include your choice of an appetizer, entrée, soup, salad and dessert. Dinner is served Wednesday and Thursday evenings between 6 p.m. -6:30 p.m. Lunch is served on Tuesday and Fridays between 11:30 a.m. -noon. There is only one seating and reservations are strongly recommended.

On Sundays The Hanover Street Chophouse is offering a three course Sunday Dinner menu for $40 per person from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. The menu includes several choices for starter, entree and dessert.
