Man wanted for Dunkin’ Donuts hit-and-run arrested, faces 5 felony charges

MANCHESTER, NH – A Manchester man was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident late Sunday night in which he allegedly drove a Cadillac into the old Dunkin’ Donuts building before fleeing on foot.

Jason Martinez Morales, 21, of Manchester, was charged with two counts criminal threatening; two counts reckless conduct; and conduct after an accident, all felonies.

Police say on Oct. 4 at approximately 10:54 p.m. patrol officers responded to the area of Granite Street at Main Street for a report of a car that had crashed into a building. When police arrived at 4 Main Street (the former Dunkin Donuts) they were advised that the driver had fled the scene. AMR responded to the scene to treat an injured party who was a passenger. That person, whose name was not released by police, was transported to Catholic Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Manchester Police Traffic Unit Collision Reconstruction and Analysis team. Anyone with information regarding this crash is asked to contact the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711.
