MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Police responded to 117 Queen City Ave. (7-Eleven) for an armed robbery on June 19, at 3:50 a.m. Manchester Detectives followed up on the case and identified the suspect, Jacob Brady, 25, No Fixed Address. Detectives were granted an arrest warrant on June 20, so patrol officers checked a west side address at approximately 7 p.m. last night.

Officers were told Brady may be inside of a Wayne Street address, so they started to set-up a perimeter to check the location. While doing so, two officers located a male subject walking away from the Wayne Street address in the rear alley.

Both gave verbal commands for the man to stop, but he continued walking a short distance before turning toward the officers while pointing a handgun at them. One of the officers fired his service weapon at Brady which caused Brady to drop his weapon and hit the pavement. Brady sustained minor injuries as a result of the shooting and was taken into custody for the original Robbery Warrant. He was also charged with two counts Criminal Threatening (F) and placed on a preventative detention.

Brady will appear in the 9th Circuit Court on June 21, 2016.
