Man found dead after report of shots fired on West Side, homicide investigation underway

MANCHESTER, NH — The NH Attorney General’s office is involved in an investigation that has been launched into an apparent homicide that occurred on November 29, 2016 on Manchester’s West Side.

On Tuesday at approximately 12:30 a.m., Manchester police officers responded to 231 Thornton St. for a report of shots fired. There they located a deceased adult male, who was a resident at that address, with an apparent gunshot wound.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause and manner of death. The investigation into the shooting incident is active and ongoing.
