Huge drug bust nets 3.5 kilos of heroin, cocaine, painkillers guns

CONCORD, NH – Eight individuals were arrested by federal, state and local authorities following a long-term investigation into the trafficking of heroin and cocaine in the Keene area. Confiscated in the sweep: 3.5 kilos (about 7 pounds) of heroin, .5 kilo cocaine, and prescription pain killers. Also, 14 firearms were confiscated.

According to US Attorney John Kacavas, drug deals were made at the Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem, and in Lawrence, Mass. The drug task force confiscated the drugs and weapons at the residence of suspect Ross Gould in Keene.

Kacavas said this is believed to be the biggest heroin bust in New Hampshire history.

Those arrested include:

(1)        Ross Gould, age 28, of 61 B Prospect Street, Richmond NH, was arrested for unlawful possession of heroin, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, 841(a)(1);

(2)        Jamie Hilow, age 28, of 15 High Street, Winchester, NH, was arrested for unlawful distribution of heroin, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, 841(a)(1);

(3)        Jaclyn Hilow, age 29, of 15 High Street, Winchester, NH, was arrested for unlawful distribution of heroin, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, 841(a)(1);

(4)        Jason Daigle, age 38, 79 Prospect Hill Road, Richmond, NH, was  arrested for engaging in a conspiracy to distribute heroin, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Sections 846 and 841(a)(1);and

(5)        Brandon Rivers, age 29, 49-51 Howard Street, Keene, NH, was arrested for engaging in a conspiracy to distribute heroin, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Sections 846 and 841(a)(1)

(6)        Jonathan Cruz-Marte, age 32, of 52 Howard Street, Lawrence, Mass., was arrested for engaging in a conspiracy to distribute heroin, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Sections 846 and 841(a)(1);

(7)        Felix Portes, age 56, of 227 Bailey Street, Lawrence, Mass., was arrested for engaging in a conspiracy to distribute heroin, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Sections 846 and 841(a)(1);

(8)        Pedro Pena, age 37, 125 Chestnut Street, Lawrence, Mass., was arrested for distribution of heroin.

The investigation was conducted by the US Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire, Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Homeland Security Investigations, New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, New Hampshire State Police; Keene Police Department,  Richmond Police Department, and Salem Police Department.  In addition, members of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the US Marshals Service assisted.
