MANCHESTER, NH – Tyler Murray, 21, no fixed address, was arrested August 7. He is charged with resisting arrest and possession of heroin.

At about 7 p.m. Officer Kyle Daly responded to the area Central and Union streets for a reported fight. Upon arrival he saw a man, later identified as Murray, running from the area. There was no evidence of a fight.

Officer Daly got out of his cruiser and and yelled to Murray to stop. Initially Murray ran several blocks without stopping, so Officer Daly chased him on foot.

Murray finally stopped in the area of Union and Auburn streets and surrendered, placing his hands over his head. He was taken into custody. A search incident to arrest revealed he was in possession of .2 grams of heroin.

Murray appeared in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on August 10 for an arraignment.
