Early morning gunfire wakes residents, police find 6 bullet casings

MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester police officers responded to the area of Concord Street for gunshots heard early Friday morning, and found six 9mm casings on the ground.

At 1:40 a.m., Officer’s Stewart and O’Meara were in the area of Merrimack Street and Elm Street when they heard the sound of numerous gunshots. Several calls were made by surrounding residents reporting the same information. Officers responded to the area of Concord Street and Walnut Street where they located six 9mm casings within the intersection.

At the time of the investigation, there were no reported injuries or property damage.

Residents who were awoken and interviewed by the officers were unable to provide any further leads or information relative to a cause for the shooting or suspect information.
