MANCHESTER, NH – The city’s much-anticipated Dupont Splash Pad may not have materialized in time for this summers splashing season, but getting the job done right had to be the priority, according to city Parks and Recreation Director Don Pinard.

After several setbacks, the concrete pad was finally poured Oct. 11 and has cured oer the past week, and all of the sprinkler features have been installed.
This week water testing will be done to check the flow of water. Beyond that, there’s still some landscaping to be done and tables to add, and other details to finalize before Pinard will call it a completed project, but the good news is the Splash Pad will be ribbon-cutting ready in 2017 at the first signs of summer.
