MANCHESTER, NH – You have two opportunities this week to hear your mayoral candidates on the issues: A debate Oct. 14 7:30 a.m. at the Puritan Backroom, an event hosted by the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (admission $25 members/$35 non-members) and Oct. 16 at Webster Elementary at 6:30 p.m., free and open to the public, the third of six scheduled mayoral forums with Mayor Ted Gatsas and Alderman Joyce Craig.
Each remaining town hall forum listed below begins at 6:30 p.m. and is scheduled to last 45 minutes. The format will be that each candidate begins with a brief introduction, and then questions are asked by audience members addressing both candidates, with each candidate closing with a statement.
Even if you don’t have a question, take this opportunity to see the two candidates field questions, unscripted. The forums will be videotaped by Manchester Public TV and rebroadcast at a future date to help you prepare for the Nov. 3 election.
Forums will be moderated by Manchester Ink Link editor Carol Robidoux:
