Couple face heroin charges after man overdoses in car on I-93

NH State Police CruiserState police have charged two people for heroin possession after an accident on I-93 involving a heroin overdose.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on October 26, Trooper Aaron Richards of the New Hampshire State Police Troop B was on patrol along Interstate 93 in the Town of Derry when he was dispatched to a single motor vehicle crash.

The vehicle was identified as a blue 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Jillian Nobert, 23, of Goffstown.

Police say a passenger in Nobert’s car, Ethan Marquis, 23, of Auburn, was injecting himself with heroin while Nobert was driving when Marquis overdoses and became unconscious.

Derry Fire/EMS responded to the crash and were able to revive Marquis using Narcan. Marquis was transported to Parkland Medical Center where he was later arrested and charged with possession of a narcotic drug.

Nobert was found to be in possession of multiple bags of heroin.  She was arrested and charged with possession of narcotic drugs and transporting drugs.

They are due to appear in Derry District Court on December 12, 2014 at 8 a.m.
