Chamber to hold public Q&A forum on heroin epidemic at Derryfield County Club

MANCHESTER, NH – The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a breakfast forum on September 23 from 7:30 – 9 a.m. at the Derryfield Country Club in Manchester. This forum will focus on community health and responding to the heroin epidemic facing New Hampshire.

The conversation will begin with a panel discussion moderated by Tim Soucy, Director of Manchester Public Health and including Mayor Ted Gatsas, MFD Chief James Burkush, MPD Chief Nick Willard, Hope for New Hampshire Recovery’s Melissa Crews, and Serenity Place’s Sharon Drake.

Following a brief overview from each panelist, the forum will open to a question and answer session, where audience members can ask questions to learn about the current state of the issue along with local recovery efforts and how community businesses can get involved.

Breakfast and networking from 7:30 – 8 a.m. followed by the program from 8 – 9 a.m. This event is open to the public.
