MANCHESTER, NH – A woman wanted for burglary and theft charges in Pennsylvania dating back to 2003 was arrested by NH State Police following a traffic stop.

On October 22, 2015, at approximately 5 p.m., Trooper Francois of the New Hampshire State Police Troop B barracks in Bedford was on routine patrol on Interstate 93 northbound in Manchester, when he observed a vehicle described as a grey 2011 Hyundai Accent having mechanical issues. The driver of the vehicle later identified as Andrea Erceg, 35, of Manchester, had her four-way flashers activated and was operating at a slow speed, impeding the flow of traffic.

Trooper Francois conducted a motor vehicle stop on Erceg and in the process of the stop a license check was done revealing that Erceg had an active arrest warrant from 12 years prior, out of the state of Pennsylvania, for failing to appear for burglary and theft charges. P

ennsylvania authorities were contacted and they advised that they would seek to have Erceg extradited to face her charges in Pennsylvania. Erceg was subsequently placed under arrest by Trooper Francois for being a Fugitive From Justice. Erceg is currently being held at the Valley Street Jail in Manchester pending her arraignment Friday morning in the Manchester Circuit Court.
